Care quality standards

CQC & quality

Committed to quality care

A2Z Care Matters is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England.

CQC registration

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. All providers of regulated care activities must be registered with the CQC and meet their fundamental standards.

A2Z Care Matters is a CQC-registered provider. This means we are subject to regular inspection and must demonstrate that we meet the CQC's standards across five key areas: whether our services are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

We welcome CQC inspection as an important part of our commitment to quality. We are transparent about our performance and always working to improve.

Staff training & development

Our staff receive comprehensive training when they join us and ongoing development throughout their careers. Training covers safeguarding, mental health awareness, learning disabilities, medication management, first aid, and specialist areas such as PEG care and insulin support. We invest in our people because we know that well-trained, confident staff deliver better care.
